Our teachers have a diverse range of styles & training.

Our retreats draw on this depth of knowledge to offer you a really varied experience during your time with us.

Depending on the length of retreat, we generally incorporate some Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative and Yin yoga during our time together, along with the more subtle elements of yoga philosophy, meditation and pranayama.

With the emphasis on working in small groups, and offering personal attention and adjustments, we want to help you develop your knowledge and deepen your understanding of your own yoga practice.

Charlie Griffin

Charlie is a highly popular Brighton yoga teacher, who has practiced yoga for 15 years and has been teaching since 2009. She studied yoga and advanced yoga teaching with Frog Lotus Yoga in Italy and India. She also teaches classes in Pre Natal Yoga, Pilates, Les Mills Body Balance and dance. Charlie uses inspiration from her years as a dancer to improve posture in poses, and gain a sense of grace and fluidity in flow practice, leaving participants feeling strengthened, lengthened and centred.

Hannah Lee Weller

Hannah’s background is as a dancer and choreographer, and she has studied, taught and produced dance work for over 20 years. She always enjoyed yoga practice alongside this, and the natural progression was to develop her skills and become a qualified teacher, training in Hatha and Vinyasa Flow yoga. She enjoys bringing her influences of dance, anatomy, yoga philosophy and breath work to her yoga classes. She is particularly interested in how we can develop the skills of yoga beyond the mat, and integrate them into our daily lives.

Alexa Garside

Alexa's teaching is grounded in the Vinyasa style, along with a fusion of many other influences. She has been teaching for 9 years in Brighton, and is a very highly regarded teacher, and teacher trainer.  She enjoys sharing her broad knowledge of yoga and anatomy, and creates a very enthusiastic and encouraging atmosphere in her classes. Alexa weaves Buddhist teachings, along with neuroscience and the science of movement into her classes, whilst encouraging students to smile and have fun in class too!
