Overview

Om Retreats in partnership with The Brighton Yoga Foundation and Rise, are hosting a series of free of charge, 1 hour yoga classes.

This is a women only session, specifically for service users of Rise - a charity supporting women who have been affected by domestic violence and abuse.

It is a trauma informed class, where women can experience the benefits of yoga and breathwork in a small group, in a space that feels comfortable for them.

During these gentle sessions, we will have the time to take our yoga and meditation practice at a slow pace, trying out movement and breath techniques that are suitable for all abilities, and are particularly beneficial for people who may be affected by anxiety or depression.

Yoga is  a natural way to calm the mind, increase flexibility and strength in the body, and give us tools to use throughout our daily lives

All equipment provided.

Location

Our location for the classes is Rise HQ in central Brighton. It is easy to reach by public transport, and will be equipped with all the yoga accessories we need.
