Run by women, for women, this is a day where we can truly focus on the feminine.
We will explore nature’s gifts of the season, our natural feminine cycles and how we can support our wellbeing as a woman, when we learn to trust our inner wisdom and intuition.
The day will incorporate a range of practices, from energising flow to deep relaxation, along with gentle mat based practice, breathing and meditation. And we will be joined by our dear friend and medical expert Chi Eziefula - who will be sharing her wisdom with us, and guiding us in some deeper, reflective and informative practices.
The day is suitable for all levels of yoga ability.
As a non-profit organisation, all profit from this retreat allows us to help run therapeutic sessions for community and outreach groups at Lovebrook Farm.
Laughton Lodge is a co-housing community in the East Sussex countryside, which was established in 1998 when a group of like-minded people jointly purchased 23 acres of land overlooking the South Downs.
The Lodge nestles on the edge of the small village of Laughton, which has around 600 inhabitants, a church, a primary school, a pub and a thriving village shop.
The land is shared communally and consists mainly of open meadow land, trees, and a strip of woodland along one border. There are gardens immediately around the houses, and two ponds. We will be hosting our day retreat in the large community space known as Shawfield - with a beautiful practice studio looking out over the land, and spacious kitchen and dining area for our shared lunch.
We will share a pot-luck, community lunch in the large dining room. Please bring something vegetarian or vegan, sweet or savoury, to share with the group.
Teas, coffees and a healthy morning snack will be provided.
