This day retreat will start off at the epic Devil's Dyke for a 30 minute walk across the fantastic South Downs. Then our base for the day is the beautiful Saddlescombe Farm - where we will enjoy a range of yoga practices, meditation and relaxation, suitable for all levels. After our day of yoga, we will share a jolly trip on farmer Roly's tractor, back up to Devil's Dyke car park!

A light vegetarian lunch will be provided.

Drawing on the positive themes that spring can offer us, we will spring clean our bodies and minds with some detoxifying yoga practices, dust off our old habits and approach our yoga with fresh eyes. With a spring in our step and a sense of light and fun, we will look at the potential for growth in our yoga practice, both on and off the mat.

During the day we will have plenty of time to enjoy an energising Vinyasa practice in the morning - working up an appetite for lunch! The afternoon takes a more gentle pace - with guided meditation, a slower Hatha class, and time for deep restorative work and relaxation towards the end.

With 2 teachers and a maximum of 14 participants, there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, develop your understanding of postures, and receive advice and adjustments.

The day is suitable for all levels of yoga ability.


Devil's Dyke

A legendary beauty spot on the South Downs, Devil's Dyke offers stunning panoramas, a record breaking valley, a curious history and England’s most colourful habitat.

Saddlescombe Farm

A hidden hamlet nestled in the South Downs, Saddlescombe Farm is a perfectly peaceful location for some out-in-nature-yoga.

The Learning Barn has had many former lives including a grain store and a workshop, but now it provides a wonderful, warm space for this day retreat.


A light vegetarian lunch will be provided, but please feel free to bring additional snacks for throughout the day, and a bottle of water.

9:45am Meet at Devil's Dyke car park.

10-10:30 Walk Devil's Dyke to Saddlescombe Farm along the South Downs Way.

10:30-11 Settle into the yoga space of the Learning Barn with a cuppa and cake.

11-12:30 Vinyasa Flow yoga- energising and strengthening.

12:30-1:30 Light vegetarian lunch.

1:30-2 Meditation and breathwork.

2-3 Hatha yoga - slow and stretching

3-3.30 - Restorative & relaxation

3:30pm Tractor ride back to Devil's Dyke car park.
