This New Year yoga re-fresh will bring you back to the simplicity of yoga, and a more self-compassionate way to start the year.
At the beginning of the year our natural biorhythms want us to hibernate a little while more, waiting for the longer days and fresh energy of spring. Our minds however tell us to turn over a new leaf, make a resolution, be more this, do more that, make a change, to feel a pressure to be different somehow!
Today will help you start your year in perfect yogic balance of these two callings, through a heating morning flow to thaw out resistant winter bodies, meditations and breath work to make mindful New Year changes, and Yin for deep replenishing. (Full schedule below).
New Year is the ideal time to de-clutter the body, breath and mind after a busy, rich, over-stimulated season. We really want you to feel nurtured, supported and super mellow, as we weave all these elements into the day of movement, meditation and uniting in group practice and friendship. The Studio is a brand new creative arts space in Brighton.
With its beautiful arched ceiling and stylish simplicity, The Studio is the perfect space to hold this day retreat.
Close to Brighton town centre, and only an 8 minute drive from the train station.

Designed to fire up the body and breath for immunity, build strength, and find the flexible fun in your flow.

Delve in more detail into how yoga can direct us into this new year. An opportunity to break things down, ask questions, and watch demonstrations.
12:45 ~ Lunch (BYO)
1:30-2:00 ~ Meditation: Setting Intentions
The perfect time to let our lunch digest, and our systems rest in the simplicity of stillness.
2-3pm ~ Yin Yoga
A nourishing invitation for long, held, comfortable postures. Finding space to explore sensations and rejuvenate our whole being.
3pm ~ Break
3.15-4pm ~ Deep Restorative Relaxation
Take a deep dive into the relaxation response, giving our systems time for a complete rest before saying farewell.
