Please see below for answers to commonly asked questions.

What is the booking process?

Day retreats - we request full payment at the time of booking to secure your place.

Weekend retreats - we request £100 deposit to secure your place, then the balance 6 weeks before the event.

Once we have confirmed your place, we will send you a booking form, health questionnaire, and all the essential information you need for your retreat.

How do I pay?

BACS is the easiest way to pay:

Account name: Borracasa Ltd.

Bank: Triodos Bank.

Sort code: 16-58-10

Account number:20628285

What yoga experience do I need?

Our retreats are suitable for all levels of yoga ability unless particularly stated.

We always take the time to find out what stage our guests are at with their own practice. Then we can offer individual modifications or variations to ensure you get the best experience from your retreat.

Can I come alone?

Of course!

Many of our guests come on their own... and leave with a whole new group of friends. You will find our retreats warm and welcoming.

Individual guests usually share twin rooms, or we can offer single occupancy for an additional price.

Are your retreats for men & women?

Absolutely.

And if you’re coming alone, we only pair you up with someone of the same gender.

What if I am pregnant or have an injury?

No problem at all.

Let us know on your questionnaire, and we will plan accordingly, taking into account any restrictions.

What if I have some dietary restrictions?

All the food served on our retreats is vegetarian or vegan - to be advised at the time of booking.

If you have dietary requests beyond this let us know in plenty of time, and we can usually cater for most requests.

What do I need to bring?

Each venue is slightly different, so we will give you a list of essential items to bring when you book. But generally the following list is a good guide for a weekend retreat…

· Yoga mat

· Loose, comfortable clothing for yoga and meditation practice

· Layered clothing is good, so you can peel off as you warm up

· A blanket/shawl for warmth during meditation and deep
relaxation

· Warm outdoor clothes/waterproofs/wellies if you like going for
country walks

· Slippers/thick socks for communal areas

· A good book, ipod & earphones

· Toiletries

· Earplugs if you are sensitive to sleeping in a twin room

· Swimming costume & swimming towel – for the pool and sauna

How do I get there?

Once again, each venue is different, but you are responsible for your own travel to and from the retreats.

We will give you detailed travel instructions by car and public transport. We encourage car sharing and travelling together wherever possible, so we will put you in touch with each other to help facilitate this.

Are you insured?

Yes.

All our teachers and therapists hold public liability insurance and are fully covered to teach and treat you.

What if I have to cancel?

Once you have booked and paid for a retreat, it is non-refundable.

However, if we (or you) can re-sell your space we will of course give you your money back.

What if Om Retreats has to cancel?

If we unfortunately have to cancel a retreat, we will first offer you an alternative date for a retreat.

If this isn’t acceptable to you will will offer you a full refund.

Huge thank you to you and Charlie for a wonderful day on Sunday! It was a great reminder of how important it is to check in with oneself, so thank you for creating the space and reigniting the motivation for home practice.
